I know this one is a bit of a stretch for you if you don’t sew, but it’s too good to not include. Today’s gift idea is Soothing Rice Heating Pads. You can make mini squares for hand warmers or use larger squares to make a heating pad for achy muscles.
You will need: 2 fabric squares (or more depending on how many pads you want to make) 2 cups uncooked rice 5 drops Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil 5 drops Cinnamon Bark essential oil (not included in Starter Kit, but smells divine, so you will want to order it!) 5 drops Peppermint essential oil Sew or hand stitch the fabric squares together around 3 edges. Mix rice and essential oils together in a bowl. Fill fabric square with scented rice, and sew opening closed. To use: Heat in microwave next to a cup of water for 1-2 minutes depending on the size of your pad. I heated mine for 2 minutes and was amazed at how long it retained the heat. These make great stocking stuffers or gifts for neighbours, teachers, or co-workers.
